Browndorf PEM, LLC announces Jason Kurtz as Managing Director / Real Estate

Newport Beach, Calif. - May 2, 2009 - Browndorf PEM, LLC today announced a new member to their growing team. Jason Kurtz will be the managing director of real estate investment for Browndorf PEM

During his 13-year career, Jason Kurtz has specialized in the area of multi-family acquisitions and syndication.  Prior to joining Browndorf Pem, LLC, he spent the last 5 years as Director of Acquisitions for the Bethany Group, a major Real estate acquisition and management company.  In the last 3 years at Bethany Mr. Kurtz purchased and closed more than 20,000 mutlifamily apartment units for over 2 Billion in transactions on a national basis. Mr. Kurtz was responsible for every aspect of the transaction, from start to close not limited to deal origination, underwriting, due diligence management, oversee all attorneys and contract negotiations, procure debt and equity financing and investor relations.

Prior to Bethany, Jason Kurtz was Vice President of acquisitions with a major real estate Acquisition group located in Southern California.  As a Vice President for Granite Investment Group, Mr. Kurtz participated in and oversaw over 40 acquisitions comprised of 5200 multifamily apartment units and 750,000sq of Multi-Tenant Industrial in five states.   Mr. Kurtz’s roles also included originating Debt and Equity for the acquisitions as well as raising private capital from individual high net-worth investors.

Prior to Granite Investment Group, Mr. Kurtz spent three years with Marcus and Millichap Investment Brokerage Company, as a Multi-Family Investment Broker

As Managing Director of Real Esate for Browndorf PEM, LLC, Jason has combined his transactional skills, Investor contacts and Financing relationships with his experience in locating and analyzing multi-family real estate investments. Mr. Kurtz is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and transaction management form start to finish for all future acquisitions which include obtaining debt, equity and private capital financing.

Mr. Kurtz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA.
